BARAKA Winery is a small family-owned boutique winery on Srima, a small peninsula near Šibenik. The winery is positioned near the early Christian basilica from the early 6th century. The Srima Peninsula is spanned by century-old dry-stone walls, surrounded by the estuary of the Krka River, the beautiful canal of Saint Ante, and the Adriatic Sea. Baraka Winery is completely focused on making terroir-driven fine wines. The vineyard of the Baraka family grows international varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, and local varieties like Plavina or Babić. With total of about 11,500 plants on the 4ha estate, Baraka is all about small batch winemaking and a hands-on approach with the constant raising of quality.

Macerated for 24 hours and fermented using natural yeast, this single vineyard wine undergoes aging in both concrete egg-shaped tanks and French oak barrels for a duration of 10 months. It is then bottled after a total of 18 months from the harvest, coinciding with the spring bud break in the vineyards.
