Château Duhart – Milon 2016

- +
$129.99$169.991175,36 HRK

Château Duhart-Milon, the only classified fourth growth of Pauillac, belongs to the branch of the Rothschild family that owns Château Lafite Rothschild. The vineyard is located a short distance southwest of Lafite, and the wine is made by the same team under the leadership of technical director Charles Chevallier. Today Duhart-Milon comprises some 76 hectares of mature vines. Constant improvements have fine-tuned the wine, bringing more finesse to the pronounced Pauillac tannins, and more precision to the bouquet of ample blackcurrant and blackberry fruit.

Wine notes

Variety Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
Category Red wines

  • Oak

Beautiful dark color with glints of violet and black. Nose fairly closed but suggesting substantial hidden potential. The oak and toasted notes blend perfectly with the freshness, reflecting well-managed barrel-aging. The palate offers the same aromatic notes as the nose, filled out with fresh red fruit. The wine is very long and remains perfectly balanced throughout the finish.

  • Chocolate dessert
  • Dried fruit
  • Oily fish
  • Roasted meat
