Deak Pošip Prestige 2022

A small family winery is one of only a few wineries on Komarna appellation in South Dalmatia. Cultivating vineyards on the virgin soil of Komarna, on the slopes over the sea, Deak is dedicated to Indigenous grape varieties. Their Plavac mali and Pošip are true representatives of Dalmatian winemaking today. With a vision to combine tourism with Indigenous products of the region, Deak olive oil is also a standout.

Pošip Prestige is a dry wine was aged for 10 months in barrique barrels, combined with a tiny amount of young Pošip made in stainless steel. The desire is to maintain the characteristics of the variety without overwhelming wood ageing influence. As a result, more evolved flavors of Pošip are refined with barrel ageing notes.
