After the successful career of the main enologist in Cantina Terlan and work in the big system, Hartmann Donà concluded that he wants to be fully committed to work in the vineyard and wine cellar. He takes over family vineyards in Cornaiana, near the largest city of southern Tyrol, Bolzano. It is only then that he has managed to achieve what he has always wanted from wine – fully balanced wines that take you through the glass to the sunny slopes at the foot of the highest peaks of southern Tyrol. They produce annually around 40,000 bottles, which can be found in Italy and in various parts of the world. Their wines are organized in two lines: one is a low-alcoholic line of very drinkable, but precise, mineral wines with a clear signature of the area they come from. The second line of wine is Donà Blanc, Rouge, and Noir. These are exceptional wines, great storage potential, and incredibly deep and layered. The goal of the winemakers was to achieve harmony and accord from the natural material that presents the region and varietal of southern Tyrol.
