If You get lucky, Jagunić family might welcome You with “copanjek”, autochthonous salty crisp specialty prepared from the ingredients available in any true Plešivica home. Named after the word “copati” meaning “to prepare a dough skillfully and quickly”. Maybe not quickly, but wines are being prepared skillfully enough. Devoted work, huge experience acquired through the years, innovation and professional development results in some of the finest bubbles in Croatia and also many varietal still wines.

True tradition of Plešivica subregion. Grapes comes from the well-known wine-growing location of “old varieties”, as the plantations from the first half of the last century are called because they represent a mix of different and unknown varieties. The grapes were macerated for eight months in barrels. It posses a unique minerality that last on the palate revealing layers of complexity. A wine that is a rarity, it’s a privilege to store it in the cellar and follow it over the years.
