Wine has been produced in Kutjevo since the 13th century. Vineyards are located in the Kutjevo winegrowing region on the southern slopes of Krndija. The vineyards’ elevation relative to the sea level ranges from 200 to 450 meters. As annual precipitation ranges between 500 and 800 mm of rainfall per square meter – the climate, terroir and weather conditions provide an excellent environment for wine growing.

Kutjevo holds one of the largest wine archives in Croatia. There is a saying that we start appreciating the moment only when it becomes a memory. With the Kutjevo archive, you can surely find one to become your unforgettable moment.

This wine has a pleasant color of old gold. Its medium-intense aroma reveals dried herbs, dried fruits, honey and smoke, as well as notes of overripe grapes. The full flavor brings notes of spices, dried figs, apricots and honey. The acidity is lively but ripe and balanced with the rest of the sugar. Medium-long and slightly bitter taste reveals prunes, figs, honey and spices. All these elements are wrapped in pleasant notes of wood smoke and caramel. Pair it with noble cheeses.
