Ancestors knew where they have to plant a vine, so it can find its coexistence with nature and give us the best grape. Through Matjaž, MonteMoro winery remains dedicated to their 10 ha of vineyards spread across Triban area in Slovenian Istria, with focus on unique wine produced for special customers who want great aroma and also a passion, pleasure, health and nature-perfection.

Unique and beautiful, noble wine filled with the wealth of nature, character of variety, tradition of Istria and gentle hand of a winemaker. A rich and full wine with an intense gold color and a complex aroma, that is still maturing and evolving. Intensive and temperamental, reflecting the aromas of citrus, peaches, flowers of acacia and sweet spices. Mineral on the palate with achieved clarity, elegance and structure. Very distinctive and delicate at the same time. It’s “aMorus Selection”, 6 days of maceration like red wines. Ageing 24 months in old Slovenian and French oak barrels, lying on lees.
