The Pavičić brothers have been involved in viticulture and winemaking since they were young as it’s a centuries-old tradition in the family. The picturesque family house and adjacent konoba (wine-cellar) have recently been refurbished to serve as not only a cellar but also a tasting room. Milko and Luka produce the Pavičić wine labels in a partnership and focus on single varietal wines from the autochthonous grape varieties, Bogdanuša, Pošip and Plavac mali. Their winemaking is characterised by low interference in order to ensure as many varietal, natural flavours and aromas as possible.

Bold and intense expression of Plavac mali concentrated fruitness, commanding attention with its deep, inky color and powerful presence. On the nose, it opens with an enticing mix of sweet and sour wild cherries, a delicate violet perfume, and rich undertones of ripe plums, blackberries, and dark cassis. The initial aromas are seductive, drawing you into a dense core of dark fruit.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and robust, delivering a concentrated burst of black and red fruit flavors that mingle with the young, gripping tannins adding to a firm structure. The finish is extremely long, leaving hints of dried herbs and a touch of spice. This wine is powerful and unapologetically bold, with a vibrant balance of sweetness and sourness, but it is still youthful, with potential to evolve with time in the bottle.
