PZ Svirče Ivan Dolac Barrique 2015

Badel-Svirce-Ivan-Dolac-bq
- +
$25.49$33.99243,74 HRK

Ivan Dolac is a well-known vineyard position for growing Plavac grapes on Hvar Island. It is considered one of the Grand Cru sites for Plavac Mali. Local cooperative PZ “Svirče” has been governed as part of the Badel winery for years now. But everything is still made on Hvar, where this Plavac is the first in Croatia with an official eco-label. One of the fundamental principles of ecological production is preserving biological and landscape diversity. Something this winery can be proud of.

Produced from the indigenous variety Plavac mali from isolated locations on the southern slopes of the island of Hvar. It is characterized by a deep dark ruby-red color. It was nurtured in barrique barrels so that in addition to the primary aromas of the variety, dried berries and dried grapes, it was refined with more discreet secondary aromas of maturation. The taste is strong, robust wine, rich in extract and ripe tannins.
