The tradition of viticulture in the Štimac family dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. The first vineyards were planted by the great-grandfather of today's family Štimac, Mihovil Mijo Popich, known under the nickname of RIZMAN, who lived to be 96. The winery bears his name in his honour.
